About The Show

It all started with a crazy idea to one day to do a radio show together. "It'd be cool if we could have our own show" Billy said to Daniel. "We could call it 'Bill And Dan In The Mornings' ". This was before podcasting/netcasting(whatever you want to call it) was heard of. Then an idea of creating an "online radio show" and syndicating it though an RSS feed started hitting the high road. This caught Daniel's attenion. So,being the computer enthusiast as Daniel was, he started looking for ways to do this "online radio show" as he best described it back then. Times have changed now. Podcasting is the "official" word for this type of show, and Daniel has finially figured out how to make one. So the idea was brought to Billy and, a show was born.

Through exstensive research(meaning Daniel typed it in google), the name "Bill And Dan In The Mornings" was not a good move for them. Since the name "The Bill And Dan Show" was taken by two comedians named Bill and Dan. So the name "Slackers" came up. A logo was made, and it suited the hosts. And it was so. "Straight From The Couch" was later added to add more of an individual feel to the show. To learn more about the hosts, click on "About Us" at the top of the page.
