Learning Google+ For Business
Go no further in reading if you do not have a Google plus account…send me your email address(must be a gmail or google account) and I will send you an invite. There…got that out of the way.
Another Social Network?
Yes! It is another one. But I would keep my eye on this one. Everyone uses Google, whether for search or email, maybe maps, or the power user like myself that also uses Google Docs and Calendar. And it seems if you step back and look at the things surrounding Google+, looks like Google is going to integrate all their products with every single one of their other products.
Next is how to prepare your business for it!

Are You On Google Places?
Prepare Your Business
I’m calling it right now, Google will pull business information from Google Places pages. If you have not set up a Google Places page for your business…you need to do that now. It has many benefits even without Google+, but now I think it is even more important.
What You Else Can You Do Right Now?
The best thing right now with Google+ is everyone is playing with it. Estimated 10 million users and counting are getting on this site and poking around and testing it out. That means people are paying attention to it right now. So even without “official” business pages, you need to represent your business because there are people looking. Always go where the people are, and right now people are looking at their Google+ stream. Find someone(or yourself) to create an account and talk about things going on in your company. It will be beneficial in connecting with new potential clients.

Hangouts, great for customer service
What You May Learn
Hopefully you will learn one very important lesson about Online Marketing and business…people like to deal with individuals. If you’re on twitter, I recommend having at least a support account for dealing with customers problems, and a news account that gives information and changes within the company. Because I’ve found that people do not like reaching out to a business account that they don’t know if they are going to get a response…but shouting to an individual, it’s pretty much assumed that you’re checking it often, so they know they are more likely to get your attention. And that’s what it is all about. Getting your message out there, listening, and solving problems your customers have.
