Social Media Experiment
I was out to lunch with a friend of mine, Josh, and I told him some great advice on how to get more online social interaction…
“If you tweet or post something on Facebook about one of two topics, the weather, or food, you will get responses from your friends before we leave this fine eating establishment.”
I said something like that, may not be the exact words…but no matter, it was truth. Not only did he get Facebook comments on his weather update here in Florida, he got a personal text message about said update. It worked better than what I even thought.
Could it be, that a topic such as the weather, or food, is just so relatable that people cannot help themselves but to add their voice and opinions? Maybe you have lack conversations going on wall, try this out. Say how cold it is, or what your coworker is eating and it’s making the office smell something horrible…see what happens.
What else would be relatable to everyone? What is a sure fire topic of discussion on the web?
